Even though this unit has ended, I'm going to continue this blog with another song called "Lollipop." This song is by Big Bang who is already well known on this blog. The featured group is 2NE1 and this was the first music video they appeared before their debut with "Fire." Check out this awesome collaboration here:
After watching this video, it's definitely unclear that this is an advertisement for a phone but it is! Their song is for the LG "Lollipop" phone. The music video matches the phone with its bright colors and bright displays. I should know since I own the phone! Over here in America, it's called the dLite:
Anyways, back to the video. When I first watched it, I was wary of the crazy clothes and funky hairstyles. But now, I think everything fits everybody perfectly. From the palm tree hairstyle Dara to the train conductor outfit on G-Dragon. Everybody looks like they're having fun and the music video was a perfect lead-up to the explosive debut of 2NE1.
If all advertisements were like the ones in Korea, I wouldn't have any money left!
